The Challenge:
Samsung hired ThemeDream to produce a one-of-a-kind summer experience for its employees that encouraged guest participation, fun games and activities for coworker bonding, interactive photo opportunities, and playful entertainment for the kids.

The Results:
ThemeDream Productions produced a "Pirates of the Caribbean"-inspired amusement theme park at California's Great America, as we hosted over 2300 employees and their families, immersing them into the scallywag world of pirates! Argh! Guests received a pirate name, a pirate hat, a horn tankard to drink grog, and took photos with infamous pirates such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook, Captain Morgan and over 20 other interactive pirate actors! Guests also enjoyed a Cirque du Soleil-inspired pirate show called "The Shiver Me Timbers Show!" inside our Davy Jones Dungeon Theatre as they gnawed on Peg Leg Skewers, Pillage & Plunder Pasta and Yo Ho Hog Sandwiches. Children enjoyed "Pirate Tales" by Captain Billy Bones & Princess Pirate Mary Read at our Children Storytelling Theatre, while also taking photos with swimming mermaids and holding wild parrots. Adults were able to sneak away to our 21+ Tiki Bar called "Smuggler's Cove". Musically, the day featured a live pirate band called The Seadogs as well as Bay Area's famous Top 40 band "Pop Rocks" dawning pirate costumes as they performed on a 40’ pirate ship stage! The afternoon got competitive with Pirate Ship Beer Pong and Captain Jack's Cornhole! However, it wouldn't be a pirate party without loot, booty & treasures to be won, so guests tried their luck at over 14 pirate-themed carnival games to win one-of-a-kind pirate-themed plush toys and prizes!
