The Challenge:
San Francisco’s most iconic landmark Palace of Fine Arts needed a marketing strategy to generate tremendous public awareness and attract private and corporate clients for its new 140,000 square foot event rental space called the Exhibition Center. Palace of Fine Arts hired ThemeDream to design and execute a B2C marketing campaign for the first-ever New Year’s Eve gala in this historical venue with a target sales goal of 2000 tickets.
The Results:
ThemeDream produced a fairytale-themed New Year’s Eve gala like nothing San Francisco had ever seen before. ThemeDream took immersive live entertainment and theatrical production to a whole new astronomically larger level by transforming this 140,000 square foot venue into a magical theme park for adults featuring 11 fairytale-themed worlds with over 25 mesmerizing cirque performers & photo-friendly costumed actors, fairy ballet dancers, wizard magicians, fire-breathing dragons, theatrical decor & lighting, breathtaking visuals, fantasy art & fashion exhibits, fully-immersive 360° dome theater show, Instagram hot spots, wine-tasting room, premium open bars, live jazz club, and guests dancing visually immersed in the world of Alice in Wonderland. ThemeDream’s digital marketing campaign for IMAGINE sold over 4000 tickets, far exceeding Palace of Fine Arts’ sales expectations of 2000 guests. IMAGINE proved to be a tremendous marketing success for Palace of Fine Arts as the event’s publicity and word of mouth immediately generated enormous event booking inquiries and sales for the following year.
